The design of SR-MECair is based on a compact, light concept with exceptional performance. A frame of expanded polypropylene was chosen as a base, not only to reduce weight but at the same time, to obtain high thermal and acoustic insulation. SR-MECair is the result of a close collaboration between a team of expert technicians and designers, both specialized in thermodynamics and electronics.

The UV-resistant ABS cover guarantees color retention for years as well as strong resistance to heat.The large grilles on the side and rear ensure perfect airflow, significantly reducing the ingress of dust and dirt. With a total weight of 26.5 Kg*, SR MECair is undeniably the lightest roof air conditioner on the market. (*In versions C17 and C22) SR-MECair air conditioners are easy and safe to install in place of a skylight (40×40) and come equipped with a special sealing frame, which avoids any risk of possible water ingress.

SR-MECair distributes the air where you need it the most. A unique and elegant control system evenly and comfortably distributes the airflow throughout the entire habitation compartment.The air flows through the adjustable flaps at both sides of the diffuser, which can be set in 3 different positions. Closing the flaps allows for a pleasant diffusion of the air through a series of micro-holes, creating a “shower effect.” The central rotary control is ‘unique’ and allows you to adjust the airflow forward or backward, or maintain an equal distribution of the airflow. On the sides of the diffuser, there are two grilles where the internal air-supply is managed. The grids are easy to remove for maintenance and cleaning of the internal filters.

All SR-MECair air conditioners redefine efficiency and performance. They come equipped with a comfortable and intuitive remote control featuring a display that allows you to operate all functions seamlessly:

SR-MECair boasts the capability to identify any malfunctions through a state-of-the-art, latest-generation electronic system. An acoustic alarm signal indicates the detected error based on a number of sound signals. Each specific sound signal corresponds to a different malfunction of the system.
